Chloe (@studiocloclo) posted a slide deck of her tips for decorating a tiny home.
The creative TikToker used to live in an 800-square-foot apartment, but she was forced to downgrade to half the size.
Now, she shared the hacks she used to save space in her small studio.
“Multifunctional furniture is key. Clever storage is your best friend,” she said, showing a photo of her Ikea purchase.
Chloe bought the $2,605 JÄTTEBO Sectional, but just the long end to fit in her apartment.
Additionally, she purchased a hanging paper towel holder from Amazon to declutter her counter.
She recommended the $20.83 Yamazaki Paper Towel Holder and the $50 Yamazaki Home Tosca Countertop Wire Shelf for more organization.
“Dish drying mat you can tuck away when not in use,” Chloe admitted.
Next, Chloe suggested using over-the-door storage for cabinets if you have limited space inside.
Additionally, the innovative woman used dish risers and nesting bowls because she lacked space in her small cabinets.
Chloe admitted she wouldn’t survive without her tall platform bed frame to store her luggage underneath.
“Also would not survive without two tier clothes rack… the most essential storage solution,” she said.
Chloe warned viewers to pay attention to how thick their hangers are.
She opted for thin, wire ones.
The excited shopped loved her $35 Yamazaki Home Tower White Interlocking Towel Organizer and placed it in her closet.
Her final two recommendations were using a hat and key rack to hang the miscellaneous items on and a Nordkisa bench from Ikea.
“Thank you so much,” a sweet viewer wrote.
“I’m glad I saw this because I was about to be influenced to switch to wooden hangers,” an appreciative fan commented.
An honest person noted: “The suitcase under your bed thing is fine if you rarely travel, but if you travel frequently, it could bring bed bugs to your mattress.”
