In the clip posted to TikTok (@lorenkreiss), he begins: “We have to talk about decorative letters and signs.

“Why would you use these to design your home?”

The interior design whizz continues: “If you have decorative letters?
“Let me help you out.

“Spell T R A S H – and do just that.

The video has since gone viral, garnering a whopping 53k views and several comments – with very mixed responses.

“How about when people put a sign in the laundry room that says ‘laundry’ as if someone wasn’t sure what the room was for,” wrote one.

A second penned: “Omg – thank you!”

A third commented: “My daughter had that in her house told her the same thing that you said.”

Meanwhile, a fourth noted: “I soooooo agree.”

Another quipped: “How will I know where to live laugh love?”

And one more added: “Someone tell my mother.”

Elsewhere, others were quick to defend the signs they have in their homes.

“I liked my home sweet home sign,” one social media user wrote.

A second admitted: “I have one that says Relax. And I look at it and it reminds me to relax.”

A third noted: “Beauty is in the eye of the beholder!!! I actually have a sign that says this very thing in my bathroom.”

Loren replied by asking: “It wasn’t self evident that beauty was in the eye of the beholder without having the sign?”

And one more added: “I feel attacked!”
