Theresa Alice Dinallo (nee Latona) a lifelong resident of Hasbrouck Heights, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Thursday, August 10, 2023.
Predeceased by her husband, Anthony M. “Babe” Dinallo; children, Michael A. Dinallo, Mari Lynn Dinallo, Robert J. Dinallo; parents Dr. Joseph Anton Latona and Mary Curreri Latona; brother Joseph and wife Barbara Latona; and sister-in-law, Mary Ellen Latona and brother-in-law Rafael Rosales.
She is survived by her loving and devoted son, Donald N. Dinallo and wife Lesley; brothers Justin Latona, Donald and wife, Anne Latona; sister, Mariann Rosales, Carole and Robert Cerasia; daughter-in-law, Doris Dinallo; nine (9) Grandchildren, Christina and Dylan Butler, Theresa and Dylan Boucherle, Anthony and Avery Dinallo, Nicholas and Jill Dinallo, Lauren and Brian Mawyer, Christopher and Qiao Dinallo, Steven Dinallo, Cara Massimi and Frederick and Alex Missimi; and fifteen (15) loving and adoring Great-Grandchildren.
Theresa was born on May 18,1926, to Dr. Joseph Anton Latona and Mary Curreri Latona. A lifelong resident of Hasbrouck Heights, Theresa attended and graduated Hasbrouck Heights High School Class of 1944 and went on to further her education at Franklin School of Interior Design where she received her degree in Interior Design.
On May 28th, 1949, Theresa married Anthony M. Dinallo, who was the Founder and past President of Terminal Construction Corporation, Wood-Ridge, NJ. She was the President of St. Mary’s Women’s Auxiliary Guild in Passaic, NJ for over twenty-five (25) years. Her dedication and influence were immeasurable, and her fashion shows and golf tournaments were legendary for her attention to detail and overall participation. Theresa was also a member of the Columbus Citizens Foundation in NYC and the Ridgewood Country Club, Paramus, NJ, and a lifelong, dedicated parishioner of Corpus Christi Parish, Hasbrouck Heights, NJ.
Theresa was a woman of incredible beauty inside and out. A strong woman of faith who dedicated her life to her family and charitable organizations. She was the most incredible daughter, unbelievable sister, tremendous wife and mother, loving and supportive grandmother and great-grandmother, as well as the most loyal friend you could have. In addition, she had a special relationship with all her nieces and nephews.
Theresa, by her character and values, was a true Matriarch to her family as well as the Terminal Construction organization. She was inspirational, caring, mentoring and exemplified a woman who led an incredible life. She will be greatly missed by all who had the privilege and honor to have known her.
Funeral from Costa Memorial Home Boulevard and Central Avenue Hasbrouck Heights on Friday, August 18th at 10 AM. Funeral Liturgy from Corpus Christi Chapel 215 Kipp Avenue Hasbrouck Heights at 11 AM. Entombment following at Hackensack Cemetery. Visitation Thursday, August 17th from 4 – 8 PM at the funeral home.
