As summer is nearing an end and fall is starting to peak over the horizon, companies are starting to prepare their products to launch for the upcoming year; 2024. In the world of design some of the notable trends we saw for 2023 was floating shelves, plastered projects, and black paint.

Well if you are one of the many trying to stay with the current trends, you will be excited to hear that Behr paints just launched their ‘2024 Color of the Year’ on August 16th, 2023. It’s a color so dreamy and perfect, that us, and many other design mavens can’t wait to bring it into our own spaces, check out an exclusive peak of it below, and start dreaming up all the ways you will be using it in your own space!

Dreamy right? We were thrilled to see this release posted to Behr paint’s instagram page @behrpaint. They shared this news with us well before the new year came in, getting us all excited to take our spaces up a notch with the color they call ‘Cracked Pepper’ which is a warm soft black.

We know that deep jet black was the trending color of 2023, but it definitely did feel harsh if not used in moderation and overwhelming in certain cases. This softer take on the 2023 trend is what we have been waiting for and we can’t wait to pick a pail up ourselves.

Good news, you don’t have to wait for the new year to get your hands on this paint, it is officially for sale and can be purchased at any stores that carry Behr paint products!

Their other notable colors that are making their way into 2024 include ‘Spiced Mustard’, ‘Red Pepper’, ‘Seasoned Salt’, and ‘Chopped Dill’, all of which can be viewed on their website.
