CASPER, Wyo. — Acclaimed interior designer Max Humphrey will be at downtown Casper boutique Alma on Sept. 7 to answer questions and sign copies of his latest book, “Lodge.”
The event is scheduled for Thursday, Sept. 7, and is slated to run from 5 to 8 p.m.
“He’s a big deal in the world of interior design,” Alma owner Lauren Griffith said. “He’s got his own fabric line, has written a number of books and is well-known for his style and design work.”
Humphrey will sign copies of his book “Lodge,” and will answer questions about his works or about design in general, Griffith said.
Joining Humphrey at the talk will be notable Wyoming-based leatherworker Matt Saporito, who will be selling his wares and also answering any questions people might have about his craft.
Beverages from The Drinkery and food will be available for attendees to enjoy throughout the event, Griffith added
“It’ll be a big party,” she said with a smile. “We really want to have interesting things here.”
People can purchase a ticket and a copy of Humphrey’s latest book for $75, while tickets without a book included are $30. People can purchase tickets in advance by calling 307-459-3779 or visiting the store located at 260 West 1st Street. Tickets will also be available to purchase at the door, Griffith added.
“We hope to see a lot of people come out,” Griffith said. “I think it’ll be really interesting and fun.”
