Giuseppa Nadrowski
Hour Media has hired Giuseppa Nadrowski as the new editor of Detroit Design magazine.
Megan Swoyer, the previous editor has stepped away from her role as editor to spend more
time with family.
“I’ve so enjoyed working with all of Detroit Design’s readers and the Detroit design industry as well as Hour Media these past 11 years on this magazine, helping to grow the publication with its new branding in 2020, and increasing participation in our Design awards,” Swoyer says.
Swoyer will continue as editor of Hour Media’s Michigan BLUE, and spearhead its growing
emphasis on waterfront living, travel, dining, and more for that magazine.
“Giuseppa has worked with many of us on other Hour publications over the years and has been a regular contributor to Detroit Design. She has a keen eye for design and fashion, and I believe everyone is in good hands,” says Swoyer.
Nadrowski is a Wayne State University alumna from Sterling Heights and brings with her
experience and a connection to the local design community.
“As editor, I look forward to continuing the magazine’s legacy of highlighting and promoting our talented community of designers, builders, artists, and architects, and even more so, I look forward to showcasing all that is new and exciting in our region’s thriving design scene,” says Nadrowski.
Detroit Design is published by parent company, Hour Media. It is the only regional upscale
home magazine showcasing the luxe metropolitan market that has been publishing quarterly for more than 20 years.
“I am excited to see what Giuseppa will bring to the table to help grow this important
publication for the interior design and architecture industry,” says Jason Hosko, publisher of
Detroit Design. “We look forward to the exciting journey ahead under her editorial leadership.”
