The Titans have unveiled their complete architecture and engineering team for the new Nissan Stadium project, currently underway. The $2.1B stadium, being built in a parking lot adjacent to the existing Nissan Stadium near downtown Nashville, is scheduled to open in 2026.
The team consists of 24 firms, including nine from the Nashville area and 13 designated as disadvantaged business enterprises (DBE). Manica completed the stadium’s conceptual design, its second NFL stadium following Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas. Architect of record TVS will hold all contracts with the project’s subconsultants.
Major sports venue project regulars like Walter P. Moore (structural engineering and ETFE roof enclosure engineering) — which has over 200 sports facility projects under its belt, including SoFi Stadium, Globe Life Field, and, currently, Intuit Dome — ME Engineers (converged networks, IT engineering), Smith-Seckman Reid (mechanical, electrical, and plumbing engineering), and WJHW (AV, LED, broadcast, and sound) are also involved.
Edith Ponciano, formerly at Gensler, is designing the interiors through her firm EP Atelier; her recent projects include interior design for Chase Center, BMO Stadium, Q2 Stadium, the Las Vegas Aces training facility, and Snapdragon Stadium.
