Synergy Design Group, an exhibit design company for trade shows and branded interiors, has acquired Imagen LLC, a Tennessee-based corporate interior design and exhibition space firm.
The acquisition for the New Orleans grown company enhances design-build capabilities in Nashville, allowing for faster service to more than 13,000 annual trade shows throughout the United States. Synergy was founded in 2000, is headquartered in Kenner, and is a certified Minority and Woman-Owned Business Enterprise (MBE and WBE).
Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. All employees from the Tennessee company will be maintained and onboarded onto the Synergy team, more than doubling Synergy Design Group’s personnel, enhancing its millwork and build capabilities, and expanding its logistics footprint.

Lobos and Imagen retiring CEO Joan LaGrasse first connected through their involvement with the Women’s Business Enterprise Council South.

Imagen was founded over 30 years ago, and in Tennessee, is a leader in the design and exhibition space, known for its experienced fabricators and custom interiors work.
Synergy Design Group will lead its global efforts from its home base in the Greater New Orleans area, where it continues to support clients in the maritime, seafood, technology, pharmaceutical and manufacturing industries.
