Scott Weisberg was named chief operating officer June 18, PML shared with Construction Dive.

With more than 20 years of industry experience, Weisberg began his career with PCL Construction — which has its U.S. headquarters in Denver — before he joined Lendlease in 2006, working as a senior vice president and operations director in New York City.

While at Lendlease, he led multimillion-dollar projects, including the massive mixed-used development Riverside South project, the 1522 First Avenue Medical Office Building and the mixed-used development City Point complex in at 138 Willoughby in downtown Brooklyn, per a news release shared with Construction Dive.

Weisberg departs Lendlease amid turmoil at the company. Last month, the struggling Australian-headquartered contractor and developer announced a major strategy shift in which it is exiting international construction, selling off projects to focus on work in its home country and cutting over 1,400 full-time employees, some through the sale of its overseas business units.

Just a few days after the announcement, Lendlease agreed to sell its New York and New Jersey construction operations to Milford, Massachusetts-based Consigli Construction. The majority of Lendlease’s U.S. construction workforce will transition to Consigli, according to a news release.

PML is currently consulting on several high-profile projects in and around New York City, such as the Flatiron Building renovation, Port Authority Bus Terminal and New Terminal One at JFK International Airport, according to the release.

Founded in 2023, PML is led by Lehrer, who has over five decades of construction experience in New York City. Lehrer founded construction advisory firm Lehrer McGovern Inc. in 1979, and later Lehrer LLC, which merged into the Lehrer Cumming Group.
