Three-bedroom condo apartment with baroque style interior design

by

This three-bedroom condominium apartment may have a modest 1,100 square foot footprint, but it boasts a big and bold baroque style interior design. Home to a couple and their young daughters, the baroque interior of this condo is both sumptuous and inspired by cherished memories.

Luxurious baroque interior

The luxurious baroque interior theme draws direct inspiration from the homeowners’ wedding picture, displayed in pride of place in the dining area inside an ornate gold-tone frame.

“The husband and wife have deep sentimental attachment to the look and romantic ambiance of their wedding day,” explains Joanna Evangelista of Vegas Interior Design. “They wanted to recreate and relive that magical baroque style vibe within their home’s interior design.”

While incorporating the husband’s desired rich red and black color tones, Joanna’s thoughtful baroque interior design expertly balances the wife’s preference for a lighter, airier palette as well. Bright white floors, soaring ceilings and most walls provide a fresh, open backdrop for controlled pops of the darker colors and lavish gold-tone accent furniture.

Damask print wallpaper

The show-stopping dark damask-print wallpaper featured as focal points in the living room and master bedroom matches the ornate backdrop from the couple’s wedding photo, cohesively tying the whole sumptuous baroque interior together. Exquisitely carved cornices and ceiling moldings echo the ornate feel and detailing of the wedding ceremony’s fireplace.

Joanna notes, “All the stunning furniture pieces were painstakingly custom-made using rich teak wood in Indonesia, with a considerable two to three month production lead time.”

From the high-back dining chairs featuring luxe brass stud detailing and an intricately carved dining table fit for a palace, to plush quilted bed headboards and baroque style mirror frames with delicate sculpting, this opulent interior design flows with beautiful consistency throughout every space. Even the upholstery hues were carefully matched to the deep, luxurious red tones seen in the inspiration wedding photo.

To bring this grand, romantic, baroque style vision to life within their pared-down condo footprint, the couple invested over $60,000 for furnishings and decor alone.
