Stitch Design Shop — a full-service modern architecture and interior design firm with offices in Winston-Salem, Greensboro and Boone — said Monday it has debuted its new headquarters at 1105 Burke St. in downtown Winston-Salem.
The firm, with a workforce of 21, moved from 3,260 square feet within the Art for Art’s Sake Center for the Arts building on N. Liberty Street to 7,000 square feet.
Formerly home to a Studebaker dealership, the retro-style building has been renovated by the firm’s principal architects and founding partners Pete Fala, Ben Schwab and Adam Sebastian.
Fala said that the new space “allows us to showcase design offerings to our statewide network in new ways, and also to engage with the surrounding community.” It features a reception lounge filled with modern furnishings, a hospitality-focused conference room for client presentations and a wellness area for both staff and guests.
