Bengaluru’s housing boom drives 66% of buyers to choose personalised design services
A surge in demand for residential units has prompted builders to launch new housing projects. This increase has, in turn, led to a rise in demand for interior design services. Buyers are keen to personalise their living spaces, reflecting a trend toward premiumisation. Notably, the demand for home interiors in Bengaluru has reportedly tripled over the past three years, showing a 40% increase post-COVID.
Statistics from NoBroker indicate that 66% of buyers in Bangalore want to personalise their spaces using interior services from organised providers. Before committing to costly renovations and purchases, buyers are turning to 3D designs to get a more realistic view of their spaces. The visual representation in 3D models helps them make informed choices. This is where organised players have an edge.
The budget for buyers seeking 3D interior design ranges between 8 to 15 lakh. 3D designs involve creating objects or scenes in three dimensions, length, width, and height, using specialised software. This approach allows for a comprehensive view of the space from various angles, showcasing details like furniture placement, appliance positioning, and the application of colours and textures.
Amit Agarwal, CEO & co-founder of NoBroker said, “’In today’s fast-paced world, buyers are increasingly seeking precision and personalisation in their living spaces. Our data shows that the demand for 3D designs has surged dramatically, reflecting a shift towards a more informed and satisfying home renovation experience. Clients who utilise 3D models are 85% more satisfied with their final outcomes.”
